Day 23: Actor
I'm always curious about actors with unusual looks like Steve Buscemi. In a field where looks are everything, there's a niche for the non-conventional. Somebody has to play those roles I guess.
Day 22: favorite cartoon character
I have many, but I'm feeling 90s nostalgic so here us go. They couldn't be more opposite but I love their optimism and cynicism respectively.
23. Actor
I am an AC-TOR! I had a hard time deciding on an actor (or like a generic cartoon of people acting, or whatever). So I would like you to imagine me sitting on the bench in the toddler play area of a local mall, trying to draw Jon Lovitz from memory while having to stop my kid from climbing up the slide every 30 seconds. IT STINKS!

22. Favorite cartoon character
I love Totoro, but I'm not really sure he's my favorite when the world also contains the Warner kids (all of the Animaniacs, really) and the Tick and Courage the Cowardly Dog. And so on.
21 guilty pleasure
My three year old started part-time preschool, giving me about twelve hours a week to do whatever I want. So of course I feel terrible about how awesome it is.
20. Dream job
So like I don't have a day job outside of my house. I'm a fiber artist, which is pretty boss, but WHAT IF I was better at it and able to command more coin for my skills. WHAT IF.
21. Guilty Pleasure
A Silent But Deadly (SBD) fart just before exiting an elevator full of people. Bonus if the elevator contains that shitty coworker who makes everybody in the office fucking miserable as hell.

24. A collage
I kind of hate collages. I can't seem to make one that does anything beyond just the obvious joke of putting a couple of incongruous things together, which just feels meaningless and therefore a waste of time after a while. But I've probably made hundreds of collages and will probably make hundreds more because sometimes they're kind of funny and because I have SO MANY collage materials. I dunno.

20 + 21 + 22 + 23
20. Wanted to draw a dream-generating assembly line but somehow drew a duck bill, so now it's a duck employed by the dream industry.
21. I couldn't think of anything I felt guilty about, so I drew this from my cat's pov. I think he feels guilty because he hops away really fast if he hears us coming.
22. For reference:
Easter Egg (at the end) is actually my favorite, but I didn't want to draw a spoiler on the off chance that everyone hasn't seen this cartoon and is looking forward to watching it. The Bad Egg, of course, is also amazing. I think about this cartoon A LOT. Also, I think this might be the best drawing I've ever done of anything.
23. For reference:
I think about this movie constantly. Fay Ray actually plays 3 roles, but Mrs. Hardly is a standout.
18. Zombie
I asked my three year old what kind of zombie I should draw. She said a people zombie. A blue people zombie. Wearing blue stripes. Then she saw my drawing and was like, "that doesn't look like a zombie."
